OGi-2V Cells

BAE OGi – cells are suitable for backup power applications where safety and long service-life is a top priority. The OGi performs exceptionally well where discharge currents are required for short period discharge times. It also works well when these short discharge needs are coupled with continuous loads over longer length discharge times.

BAE uses a round-grid flat-plate design for its OGi cells. Due to its exceptional lead-mass and grid plate, a long operational life and a very good high-current overall performance is realized. The smooth straight-walled containers and bridge- supported plates grant a great power-density in a compact footprint. The transparent container provides greater visibility and control for service and maintenance purposes.

The OGi Cells are typically used as a standby energy source in transmission and/or distribution substations, as well as in data centers for UPS; for emergency lighting equipment and other applications requiring higher short duration rates such as telecommunications.
